Chemistry students practiced noble gas notation with an electron configuration battleship with Mrs. Kendrick!

Parents and students, remember that this Friday is the AR deadline! You've had over 800 minutes of reading time at school, so take those final tests and rack up points to "spend" at Point Joint on Monday!

PHS Hope Squad is collecting food for the Pottsville Community Food Pantry! Students can bring items to their Enrichment teacher. Swipe to see the list of needed items! We will collect items on Tuesday, December 17!

Congratulations to Lexi Davis! Mrs. Rogers "caught" her being good today!

PHS Beta Club gives back to the community with a $750 donation! Pictured with Pottsville High School Beta Club members is Mr. Thurman Lunsford, Director of the Pottsville Food Pantry. The money, donated annually by the club, is used to purchase holiday turkeys and hams for local families.

Mrs. Brooka Potts presented Bailey Cain with her second "caught being good" button for Bailey's willingness to say the daily pledge and read the announcements for PHS. Bailey's on a roll, folks!

Mrs. Millsaps caught Diamond "being good" in geometry; Diamond volunteered to help a student work on his project and impressed Mrs. Millsaps with her knowledge and kindness. Congratulations, Diamond!

Chris Turic volunteered to feed the Unified softball team before their tournament, and he spoiled them with a fantastic brunch. PHS (and Owen!) appreciates all that Mr. Turic does for our district.
