Tripp Price makes another appearance as a PHS student who is "caught being good" every time we turn around!

Computer science students focused on coding checkerboards this week. Rylee finished the work early and pulled out her book--the PHS way to use extra time.

Career Coach Casey Beavers visited with PHS Juniors on Friday; they discussed what senior year might look like and all the different class options. Mrs. Beavers will visit with Sophomores on Thursday.

Madison Kellar, our newest "caught being good" student at PHS!

What three things have you learned this week? Mrs. Broyles asked her students that very question, and they responded on her whiteboard. A great way to start class on a Friday!

Mrs. Hare's room had a busy week, but life is never too busy for a big smile!

APUSH students work through their Chapter Fourteen comprehension questions. Except some students don't.

Come celebrate our seniors!

Good things happening in EAST, including Mr. David Fitch's expertise in creating filament in a bottle as part of a project. Mrs. Flemmons keeps her students organized and productive (with a little fun thrown in)!

Ag students tested their ability to smell against twenty different scents, from oregano to coconut. Mrs. Vaught hopes to find a strong group of sniffers to compete in FFA in the spring!

Did you know that PHS offers a painting class? These artists spend their eighth period every day learning new painting techniques--here are some of the latest masterpieces!

PHS students participated in a mock election with Mrs. Whorton, and senior Miller Mahan cast a real vote with his choice for president (and has a sticker to prove it)! Students, look for an opportunity to register to vote in the coming months!

Celebrating Halloween by turning pumpkins into robots sounds like a great project, right? And it was! Mrs. Reid's robotics class spent the week creating "spooky" robots while her computer programming class worked on some seasonal 2-D art.

Pottsville High School celebrates two grants--totaling over $20,000--provided by ANO. We're ready to refresh the FACs classroom and purchase supplies for our new Quiz Bowl team. Shout out to Mrs. Rank and Mrs. Storm for filling out the grants and ANO for supporting #OurTribeStory!

This group of friends continues to squeeze every moment of fun out of their senior year. A Boo Basket exchange at lunch is another great memory!

PHS PE with Coach Rust is always a fun way to get some exercise and visit with friends. The class is also a great way to form new friendships and take a break from technology and paper.

What better way to celebrate Red Ribbon Week than to decorate a pumpkin? The competition was fierce, but FFA won the grand prize (donuts!) with their take on "Say No to Crack."
